Len Woodruff
Danny's resin parts are the top of the heap when it comes to resin cast. Same quality as Replica's & Miniatures. I have nearly all of the items on his website and am looking forward to posting my 1st build using his castings of Brakes, Drums and Axles. imatt88
Dan, Do you happen to make those brake drum sets in 1/24th scale as well? Cheers, Ian
dannyi
Sorry for my late response Ian, I was out of town for the holiday. To answer your question, when it comes to parts like mine, with all the various sizes there are, the difference between 1/24 and 1/25 is very minimal. You should have no problem using them in either scale.
imatt88
Works for me! I'll need at least two sets of the old school finned brake drums, front and rear. I'll need one set very soon, and the other I'll have to contact you
dannyi
..sounds good Ian. I have the master made for the 'hollow' finned drums ready and hope to have the mold done in the next day or two. Everything else I have in stock. dannyi
..got a couple new items made. Got a clutch package that I posted in the resin section and a redesigned brake shoe assembly. This one is a little more accurate and now comes with a spindle for the front set. I also re-did the axle hubs so they would fit the spindle......the brake shoe assemblies don't come with the springs but their not hard to make, just some brass wire wrapped around a needle then painted. RJWood
I just ordered a set of the ratrod finned brake drum inserts from e-bay. They look great, and I can't wait to use em'. Thanks Daniel Oh, and I bookmarked your site. Lots of nice stuff there. Edited January 11, 2011 by RJWood
dannyi
..thanks Ron, I appreciate that. I hope you like the rat rod brake drums, their a good seller for me. The nice thing about them is they can be sanded to just about any thickness you need, or used just as they are.

dannyi
What do you use to photograph, those pics are great! I need to get a macro lens for my Canon. Ian, I use a Nikon Coolpix S630. 12 megapixels with 7x zoom. It's a few years old but does a real nice job in close-up mode.
dannyi
It's been awhile since I've posted anything, got a major basement remodeling project going on, but I have managed to make a few new items. Plus I can now offer chrome plated wheels. Please take a moment to check out my web site and see if there's anything you need or may want for a future project. I also have an e-bay store (Scenes Unlimited) plus I have a face book page now. Question and/or comments are always welcome................Danny
