randx0
I converted the dash from right to left hand drive opened the center console, flocked the floor then dirtied it up with chalks, and stole the radio. the body is painted testors intermediate gray I used rubber cement applied here and there on the primer to simulate that problem suffered in the late 80's early 90's the rust spots were ground from behind then opened from the outside and weathered with chalks .the green door is missing the trim strip I added clips in it's place the dented door was cut out then copied with foil then dented and then painted I put a bunch of two part epoxy on the inside of the door for strength. the fuel door was removed and replaced with a rag. I also added some mismatched touch up paint in various locations . I built this for a club theme got this far then the meeting came so I never finished the finer details which will include trunk trash (the trunk is already opened up)littering up the interior a bike rack and that bike that is worth more than the car.I appreciate criticism it helps the process. Ryan Quantz
Simply awesome. I like seeing these types of builds. Nice work.
trogdor
It's very believable, I especially like the stolen radio One suggestion, maybe dirty up those rims. They look a bit too clean for that car.
nails3825
This is very cool! The dents are real looking, not like something I would've done And the way those wires stick out of the stereo, lol... that's awesome!
tuffone20
Very nice I really like what you have done to it! Now get the other detail stuff done you talked about and post some more photos of it.
David G.
I see now why you converted it to LHD. In Japan where the majority of cars are RHD, I doubt you'd ever see one in this state! Only in America! Beautiful work!
randx0
Thank you for the kind words this is one of those projects that fell together and was very fun to build. In regards to the wheels I agree they need to go I am thinking some steel wheels and one space saver spare. Dragline
I don't normally respond to Asian builds of any kind but this is an OUTSTANDING build. It was a title that peaked my curiosity. Imaginative and well executed. Put the wheels you spoke of on it with some brake dust and call it a day. Well done. Bob
VW Dave
Against the right backdrop, you could fool a lot of folks in a 'real or model' thread. I love it!!
Roger U
Nice to see such creative ideas put into a build. Really nice !!

Brian Fishburn
Except for agreeing with the wheels, I really don't have any constructive criticism. Nor any non constructive criticism. That's a nicely done model. And you followed the most important rule for weathering- don't overdo it.
jeffs396
Nicely done Randy! Now you need to beat up a 4x4 like that!
