S. Svendsen
Here's the final art for the upcoming Laguna S-3 stock car re-issue. In addition to creating the box art, I built the model for this one and designed the paint scheme and generic decal sheet. The generic sheet features the tire lettering and some rare authentic fender decals which several people had requested. Contributer Paul Aleman was a big help and provided me with scans of his sticker collection to be able to reproduce the correct sponsors for 1975. Dave Van again lent his talents and created the art for the 2nd scrambled sheet which can be unscrambled and can make either the 30, 18 or 47 cars. Thanks again to everybody on the "pitcrew" who helped bring this project together. The kit should be available around Christmas time. Dave Van
I need to add something here. I thank Burket and Sean for allowing me to help out. The small group we have that help turn out these kits is great to work with. Dave Burket is of corse the ‘King’ pin of all this ...without Dave the hobby would be a lot less fun. Sean is a great model builder and graphics guy. I just have fun adding a few things to make lots of options for the builder. Thanks Dave, Sean and the whole ‘Pit crew’ that work on these neat kits! MrObsessive
If this'll be available around Christmas time.........I'm gonna start scrounging around for parts to turn this bad boy into a showroom stock '75! This is one of my favorite cars of the '70's along with the '73-'74 Grand Am------in fact I like pretty much all of the 1973-'77 GM midsizers..............they were the first cars I learned to drive in when I had drivers ed in school. Speed the day!
Modellpularn
If this'll be available around Christmas time.........I'm gonna start scrounging around for parts to turn this bad boy into a showroom stock '75! Speed the day! Funny you should say that, I got the same idea about an hour ago while rummaging through all kinds of models! But my object is the reissued Chevelle Malibu "Saturday Night Thunder"
