W-409
Don't know about the Falcon or 'Cuda, but that Nova kit is really simple. Engine looks maybe too small and there are not much parts... Well, I built one Nova, and I can say that yours is looking amazing! I like that Falcon and Cuda too, they are all looking very good to me. Nice Nostalgic Drag Racing cars coming, keep it up! funhouse1
Got another AMT AWB for the shelf, this time the Tempest. Still have the Mustang and Comet in the series yet to build. Wish I had the Edsel, Chevelle, Olds, and Corvair but from what I understand those will most likely never be re-popped due to tool problems & prices for even crappy builts are prohibitive from what I've seen. paul alflen
FUNHOUSE1, THE AWB OLDS BODY IS DONE IN RESIN. I FORGOT WHO DOES IT ?(A LITTLE HELP HERE GUYS!)THE CORVAIR DRAG CAR IS JUST THE CHASSIS FROM THE BOSSANOVA OR HEMI UNDERGLASS CUDA WITH THE 1969 CORVAIR BODY ON TOP, ACCORDING TO THE SIDE OF THE BOX LID I HAVE FOR THE CORVAIR! W-409
Really good looking Tempest! Is that driver's side header off from its place, seems like it hits to the ground? Otherwise very good looking Pontiac. I like the color and paintjob. Nice work with it, can't wait to see more of your work...

It's sitting on a sheet in the pic but indeed, it's really close... probably about an inch and a half of clearance in scale, lol. I didn't sweat the details on this one... I knew that the chassis was the same as the HUG but didn't realize it was just the '69 'vair body...Thanks, may have to investigate that situation. I have another HUG in the stash. I'd imagine the olds uses the Ratpacker or Falcon chassis but not sure I wanna' spring for a $40-$50 resin body at this point...mebbe' after Christmas,lol... Here's the AMT '69 'cuda on the HUG chassis: Edited May 20, 2011 by funhouse1

JPolli
Very Nice builds. How did you get the blue on the Goodyear slicks of your Blue Fish Cuda?
funhouse1
Very Nice builds. How did you get the blue on the Goodyear slicks of your Blue Fish Cuda? Thanks! The 'blue lines' where done with Model Master acrylic on the vinyl Goodyear Blue Streaks that seemingly come in every AMT kit...and no, my hand isn't that steady: It's pretty easy to scrape away the boo-boos with an X-acto knife.
