Fabrux
Finished this one up. Build thread is here I hadn't originally planned on using the Desert Rat decals, but I goofed up and got a glue spot on the driver's door. So, the decals serve as a distraction. pharoah
Nice! That would have been my dream truck around 1980.

Atmobil
Very nice, I think I have to get the newly reissued version of this kit as it looks very nice
Fabrux
I really enjoyed building this kit and the subject material has become a new interest of mine; I just like boxy 80s vehicles it seems! I picked up a dealership brochure for the 1980 Datsun truck line and as it turns out, there was a special edition Datsun Boxer pickup that was available. It would be ordered as a cab-and-chassis model and the aftermarket stepside bed would be added. It was 2WD only and the fenders were a bit different but it looks quite similar. I hope to be able to scan some of the brochure soon.

Fabrux
Now with matching trailer! I still need to come up with a set of license plates from the same province or state for both the truck and trailer. I'll probably end up printing off a set on photo paper. I'm also going to look for some appropriately sized chain to add along with a wiring harness.
