David Thibodeau
Kazama the "Drift Cowboy" ride is done! I tried to build it as close the the original as possible. I was not happy using the kit supplied Tear decals so I made new ones using Bare metal foil and clear yellow for the gold accents. Tamiya Park Green sprayed directly from the can was used for the paint. The kit stock interior was modified to look like a stripped down interior with drilled holes in the package tray and a scratch built roll cage before paint. All in all, a great looking car...... Here is the interior pics since you cannot see it well inside the completed model. And here are completed pictures.

LVZ2881
Wow!! So much for the drift off being competetive!!! David's build is like having John Force run his funny car in the local street drags!!!

Nick F40
Wow, thanks, I started this a bit ago and wanted to finish it, thanks mine'll look crappy.... This is incredible, I hadn't seen too many of these built, i'm surprised you did one. I'm actually stuck on carbon fibering the spoiler, I just don't want to paint it black, your looks incredible although I don't think the 1:1 had a shiny spoiler.. nice decals, definetly the older version with the chrome vinyls, I got gold. The green looks weird though.... Edited May 26, 2009 by Nick F40

The rear wing is made by SARD, google it and you will see they are very shiny, Thanks guys! DaveT

sigmaman
Nice build David. Good move on using BMF for the chrome decals. The kit ones certainly don't look good.
