Mackvision
Very nice work indeed! a sharp truck and a great subject! I worked for Atlas Van Lines and then United for 25 years! moving vans have a lot of appeal to me as model projects!..................................Mark

72 Charger
JT I wanted to ask you about your drom box . Do they have a set size and did they have doors in different places or where they all the same? .Did you cut up a trailer to make yours? Thanks Dave
kilrathy10
Well, Dave, I'm sure somebody can answer that in detail, but my knowledge is limited on the subject.....However, I do know that droms can be pretty much any size you want.....Whether the truck is a cabover or a conventional, you can put a drom on the back of it....I've seen some pretty impressive race rigs that, seemingly, defy all practicality.....Just depends on how much money you have, I guess.....As for the doors, they seem to be, mostly on the passenger side of the truck, but they can be on both......... I made mine out of an old AMT van trailer I had laying around.... Maybe someone else here can chime in on this subject.... Renegade
Another great build J.T. I use a lot of the same paints but have been looking for a silver I like. Will have to check that out. Also a great tip on the jewels for marker lights.
