935k3
Paint is Tamiya TS-49, the "evil" white peaks are Krylon White airbrushed over the red. I used about 6 different type of composite decals on this one.

Randy Kern
Another spectacular build there, Dale! I would rank you right up there with all the other super-detailers for sure. I see your camera's getting the reds a little redder! Great build.
chris coller
Looks good Dale. The carbon fiber adds so much depth to this build. I have found that once you throw some carbon fiber on these types of cars your hooked. They just dont look right without them.
Brendan
Excellent job on the Toyota. I had a funny argument over the actual paint scheme of the car. The gentleman did not believe me that it was supposed to be white triangles. I finally had to explain to him that they were sponsored by a tobacco company. I glad to see that you got the correct paint scheme on it. Awesome job on the engine bay and on the interior. Keep up the good work.
935k3
Thanks all. Chris you are right but this car especially looks naked without them. Randy, I tried every setting on the camera and adjustments with PaintShop Pro and I just cannot get the reds to come out right. Brendan, Tamiya actually provides the peaks as seperate masking pieces and includes the red triangles on the decal sheet but does not mention them at all in the instructions. My next project will be this decal nightmare(the $3.99 special); Edited January 17, 2009 by 935k3

I like your next project, always liked that scheme and those Accord's are so nice to build. Can't wait to see this one, decal nightmare $3.99 special.
