If your goal is a modern style street machine, I say the '99 Cobra engine with either a Paxton style blower or turbos with a manual trans. If more old school I agree with the 427.

You have a point, Terry. Journey was certainly one of the biggest bands of that time period but certainly are not a hair band. Lol. Also agree that they will never be the same without Steve Perry. He has one of the best, if not "the" best voices in rock!!!
