  1. You should seriously reconcider not building any more factory stock models. Your Fairlane is simply stunning! You really posess some serious skills friend!!!!!
  2. Way to go Andy!!!!! Now is the time to put in your favorite Rush CD, crank it up and celebrate !!!!!!!
  3. If your goal is a modern style street machine, I say the '99 Cobra engine with either a Paxton style blower or turbos with a manual trans. If more old school I agree with the 427.
  4. You have a point, Terry. Journey was certainly one of the biggest bands of that time period but certainly are not a hair band. Lol. Also agree that they will never be the same without Steve Perry. He has one of the best, if not "the" best voices in rock!!!
  5. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are still there but Eric Singer is on drums and Tommy Thayer on lead guitar.
  6. I don't have any pics but last spring I hauled twenty 10 foot long landscape logs home from Lowes in the trunk of my wifes 2011 Chevy Malibu. Was an interesting ride home and she was not real happy with me. Made it up to her by building two flower boxes with them.
  7. Oh good Lord, the terrible memories this thread brings back!!!! Lol. Just goes to show how "hokey" the movie really was as if repainting the car in gold was gonna fool anyone let alone disguise its shear ugliness.
  8. I agree with Philo. Plexi would be an excellent choice. The stainless would be cool if you used a real thin piece and polished it to match the nickel hardware. Very cool bass by the way.
  9. You bet I like it!!!!!! Totally cool
  10. Happy Birthday, Chuck and here is hoping you have an awesome day!!!!!
  11. Wow Felix, that is a truly beautiful Corvette. Well done.
  12. Welcome Jesus. You have some really cool builds there. Thanks for sharing them.
  13. Welcome Eric. You will enjoy your time here. Lots of great info and cool people as well.
  14. Wow that's one fine 409!!!!! Absolutely beautiful build with great detailing. You should be proud.
  15. That is one great looking Grand National!!!!!! Nicely done and that engine compartment looks sweet!!!!!
  16. I agree Chris because I think it is darn cool. You did another awesome job,Buddy. Just for the record, if you reasearch the GM paint code for Pontiac Carousel Red it is the same color as Chevy Hugger Orange. Lol
  17. Welcome to the MCM family, Nathan. You will be very happy here.
  18. Why not take this idea a step further and make it a CBP? Maybe a challenge to the family here.
  19. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family Darin. May God bless you all and I am truly sorry. Peace be with you Brother.
  20. Wow what a sweet looking Vette! The colors you chose look great as does the detailing. Great build. Thanks for sharing it.
  21. Chris you sure have been cranking out the American iron lately. This Nova is another fine example of the builds you have been posting. Keep it up as you are doing some darn fine model building, Bro!!!!!!
  22. I know what you mean, Mike. I have numerous reference books, magazine subscriptions and watch so many car guy shows that it drives my wife nuts. Just can't seem to regain my motivation to build something. Last kit I worked on was a 1967 Vette roadster and its about 90% finished. One day I discovered that I was not truly happy with the paint job so back in the box it went and I haven't done anything since. thats been at least 2 years ago.
  23. Shiftwork is certainly a big distraction for me but I am equally grateful that I have a good job to complain about. There are several other things but that is probably the biggest.
