  1. Wow your wagon is truly beautiful !!!!!! Very impressive build.
  2. Sweet Shelby!!!!! The paint and the engine compartment are outstanding.
  3. Well I believe the Weber carbs qualify it as a resto-mod. Beautiful work on your Nomad. Paint and detailing look awesome.
  4. Doc that is killer!!!!!!! Your imagination seems limitless and I applaud your originality. Great stuff.
  5. Very nice Nova. The engine compartment looks really cool and the windshield washer feed line is a nice touch.
  6. Great looking Vette, Buddy. Love the engine detailing as well as your color choices. Very authentic.
  7. Man those two make for a killer combo. Great job!!
  8. Awesome build of a great car. The steelies and poverty caps just take it over the top.
  9. My grail isn't merely one kit. It is to finally accomplish the task of having one of every model year Corvette kit in my stash. Then all will be right with the world. Lol
  10. I honestly wish I could remember what my first model kit was. What I do know is that I became hooked as a natural extension of being a car junkie in general. Have always had a need to create things so was just a perfect fit. Alot easier for a kid back then and alot less expensive as an adult.
  11. Welcome aboard mate. Can't go wrong with a Jeep CJ. Very nice build.
  12. One sweeeeeet Mopar indeed!!!!! Love the whole build and man that paint is "sparkly"
  13. No harm, no foul Buddy. Sure we all are willing to elaborate or share what we can if we had more specific info as to what the OP wants to know. I personally enjoy answering these types of questions for anyone, not to look like a know-it-all but to share what I do know. Someone mentioned the lack of Ford info, granted that and many other makes would be a very very long list.
  14. Great stuff Romell. There are some real beauties in your photos. Nothing better that a show like that for charity.
  15. Really sharp looking Cutlass you have built. The red, black combo with the white stripes and top look great.
  16. Not sure what part of OPs question wasn't answered. Sure the engine discussions could get rather lengthy but he did ask about engine size as it pertains to big and small block engines. That would be a very long list and I am almost sure he wasn't refering to the scale dementions.
  17. There were also 325 and 350 horspower versions of the 396/402 as well.
  18. The big block Chevy 396 , 400 & 402 are all generally the same engine. In 1970, GM stared overboring the 396 blocks .030 which increased it to 402 cubes. The 400 designation was the same 396/402 engine but Chevy called it a 400 in pickup trucks and some full size vehicles. In high performance applications the 402 was still called a 396. Think I got all that right . Lol
  19. That 67 looks fantastic !!!!!! I really love the mid year Vettes built factory stock. Great job !
  20. I would have to 2nd what Sixx has to say. Finding this forum almost a year ago has certainly inspired me to want to take my models to a higher level. I also agree that Romell, John Teresi, Dr. Cranky and countless others here have made a serious impression on me. Although life circumstances, both good and bad, have kept me from building since I joined here, it hasn't prevented me from adding many new tools and detail supplies as well as numerous new kits for the stash. Thank you Gregg for such an awesome place to learn so much about the hobby I have enjoyed since childhood. As soon as time and life permit it I will be building again and will surely post them up here. Once I figure out the photographic part.
  21. That is way too cool!!!!! Nice build, Bro.
