You are right Patrick. Revell made the Commerative Edition Z06 which is blue with silver & red stripes. I have several of them. One for my collection and a few for parts.
Just to clear things for you a little, C6 refers to the generation of the design of the car itself not the engine. So your father-in-laws car, being a C5, is a 5th generation Corvette. There are plenty of C5 kits out there so I am sure you can replicate his car with little fuss.
Stunning, awesome, totally impressive, mind blowing, fantastic!!!!!!! Both of your builds look so real it's just amazing. You have some mad skills,Buddy!! Great work.
Wow Felix you just keep crankin out the muscle cars. All your Stangs look great. Have to agree that the Grande coupe is a pretty unique addition. Great work on them all.
Wow that is one seriously sweet "beer wagon!!" I have to wonder though, would the beer have enough time to get nice and cold before your wagon gets to its delivery locale? Lol
Man I am beginning to think you have a thing for Corvettes like I do. Lol. I started this same kit and painted it a similar color too. Someday I will finish it. Yours looks real good and thats a nice touch putting the roof panel in the hatch just like the 1:1. Great job.
Great lookin Vette, Buddy. Nothing wrong with a big block swap into a smog era Vette. Black always looks sweet on the C3. I have the same 3 Vette kit in my stash as well as a ton of other Corvette kits. Great job. Hey Monty I belong to the Corvette forum as well. Great site n alot of info.
Hey Felix your photos look really convincing with your scenery. Really creative. I too enjoy watching the Mecum auctions as well. Much more for us down to earth, working people. Always spend Saturday nites watching after the wife falls asleep. Lol. She dosen't get it at all.
Sweet looking Gran Sport tributes. Well done paint on them all. You can add me in as another "Corvette" guy. Been a Vette junkie since I was a youngster. Great job guys.
A very cool subject indeed. The Mach1 Mustang would be a 351 4V, ie a four barrel carb. I have often wondered if the car in the movie Gran Torino and the car used in Fast and Furious are the same car.
I highly enjoy playing my guitars. It is a great stress release. I have 3 electric and an acoustic and wouldn't part with any of them. As far as Dean guitars go, yes they are still in business and make some really nice guitars.
