Dodge 440

11 April 2014 - 02:39 PM

A model here that's been done a while, but I had more fun with it than most, so thought I'd post. Made the filters from egg carton, and some other little engine details, but one of my very few two tone paint jobs and I wasn't sure about the color combo, but once it was done, I liked it. Hope you like it and thanks for looking at my stuff.

Hey guys,

A build with a few years on it. Built for a girl, dont have the girl any more, still have the model. ;) Old enough that it was before I found sites like this, so to lower it, I cut the pins off, shoved the wheels up till they touched, and glued where palstic met plastic...Oh the good old days before I was pulling my hair out trying to do stuff I see on this site!

Thanks for looking!

Weathered Rod

10 February 2014 - 04:04 AM

Hey guys,

Old "T" truck, and my second attempt at weathering, (at least the salt deal), not much else. Toned down a bit from my first try, but still a long way to go, have to try some of the other techniques to do other stuff too.

Thanks for looking!

Hey guys,

A fun build to try weathering one. I used to have this truck in high school, less the front end. It makes me laugh. Anyway, hope you like it, and thanks for looking.

Hey guys,

Had a blast with this one. Tried a bit of stuff. Made seat belts out of a Cigar rapper, scratched the headers, fuel block, line /rail around the stacks, after market stacks, flocked, different wheels, plug wires and boots, some PE handles and cranks inside...I think that's a bout it. Im not very good at WIP's but there are build pics on my Fotki page if interested. Hope you like it, thanks for looking!
