It seems to me that you -if anybody - would be in a good position to contact the American kit makers and tell them just how much you would want that kit to happen, and just how much reference material and vehicle documentation you could provide, and just how much you would not charge for using Toyota's copyright and trademark.
You might want to talk to your bosses and desicionmakers before you make that call to Revell or Moebius. AMT seems to be busy doing reissues these days. But HEY, wait up - MENG might be interested given the reception of their Ford F-350 kit. So please, work your organization from the inside, and see what YOU can accomplish.
