  1. Well I'm standing by the river But the water doesn't flow It boils with every poison you can think of
  2. You are gonna do what you must do You are gonna go where you want to go You are gonna hear what you hear Fear what you fear Don't say a word Don't let it show You will be what you will be You will reap everything you sow Just don't tell me that you love me
  3. And once upon a pair of wheels Hit the road and I'm gone ah What's my number I wonder how your engine feels. Ba ba ba ba
  4. All the old paintings on the tombs, They do the sand dance, Don't you know?
  5. Yes, and decisions like that could come from the marketing side. From what I hear, at one point in time it was not uncommon for manufacturers to financially support (as in "commission" ) new kits. And for Moebius, well they have a wide range of kits and topics. Just remember; they do make modern big rigs ,so don't say they wouldn't, just because you think they won't.
  6. Congratulations on the victory. That is quite a feat no matter how you look at it! The finance arm, uh? Not trying to be a smartypants or anything, but quite often licensing expenses are quoted as a reason why interesting subjects don't get tooled up... It seems to me that you -if anybody - would be in a good position to contact the American kit makers and tell them just how much you would want that kit to happen, and just how much reference material and vehicle documentation you could provide, and just how much you would not charge for using Toyota's copyright and trademark. You might want to talk to your bosses and desicionmakers before you make that call to Revell or Moebius. AMT seems to be busy doing reissues these days. But HEY, wait up - MENG might be interested given the reception of their Ford F-350 kit. So please, work your organization from the inside, and see what YOU can accomplish.
  7. Kenny Rogers - Sweet Music Man Actually I cheated of way of google. Never heard of it before..
  8. Let's see if any of you know this one; Well, I've got a car that's mine alone That me and the finance company own A ready made pile of manufactured grief And if I ain't out of gas in the pouring rain I'm a-changing a flat in a hurricane I once spent three days lost on a cloverleaf
  9. Saxon - Princess of the night I'm somewhat disappointed I stumped you all with this one. You are missing out on a great piece of hard rock. About a steam railroad locomotive.
  10. Accept - Metal Heart Notorious for including Beethoven's "Fur Elise" in a guitar solo between verses.
  11. It seems nobody knew this one Disneyland After Dark (now D.A.D after lawsuit) - Laugh and a 1/2
  12. The Clash - Hitsville UK BTW , it goes "thousand sales" not "scales". The song is partially about commercialism in the music industry.
  13. Speeding, sparks like lightning Engine working hard Furnace on the foot plate Shining in the night Iron striking metal The sound of racing steel It's all I ever wanna hear It's music to my ears
  14. Lifeless piece of steel --- ---- ---- Unplugged they're dying This one is a classic in it's genre, although more famous for it's instrumental bridges than it's lyrics
  15. I grew up in a life size pinball machine.
  16. Yes it is, and you are right! Three cookie points for you
  17. I hear of a country. Where they say the cities all have purdy streets. That are paved with gold. They may not be gold... But they were built by people, Paying heavy taxes for a dream they still hold.
  18. Yeah, me too. I'm just asking because if it was a point for me to stump you guys, I could probably do so all day long without even breaking a sweat. Being an immigrant from Norway, I know a lot of good songs (in English) that were never distributed anywhere near these parts of the world. So I always do some research before I post, just to make sure you have a fighting chance. I am however somewhat surprised (and disappointed) that nobody knew Rainmakers' Shiny Shiny, given that it is an American band (MO). So check it out - it is good.
