  1. EXPECT NO SYMPATHY THERE'S NONE TO BE HAD OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE THERE'S NO ROOM FOR THE WANNABEES. THE HAS BEENS OR THE BAD
  2. I had that new book with pictures of Madonna naked I was checkin' it out Just then a friend of mine came through the door Said she never pegged me for a scumbag before She said she didn't ever want to see me any more And I still don't know why
  3. The name of the song is "Trucks". Written by Sandra Boynton and recorded by Fountains of Wayne for her CD. I learned about it on NPR radio a while ago. Sure it is a kiddie song, but somehow I still like it - kind of. It is cute. Check it out here:
  4. Yes, Merry Christmas to all on here. May there be lots of styrene under the tree this year.
  5. Still up.
  6. No bells, maybe I'm just not old enough.
  7. Err. nevermind, I'm too late - Snake beat me to it.
  8. Dr. Hook - Sylvia's mother A rather sticky song that I try to forget. but can't.
  9. 'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance Well, they're no friends of mine Double points for this one.. Far back as I remember, it's always been this way. Whenever I see 'most any XXXXX, it makes a better day. In every size and color, for everything you need, and oh, I like the music when they're shifting up to speed.
  10. That's half a point to you! Anybody up for the other half?
  11. Is that cheating? Probably not. You are right anyhow. I'm going out on a limb here. Is there a rule about mandatory language on this board? This here riddle is not in English, but that is because this band has made it big (not Springsteen-HUGE, but big) internationally, also in English-speaking countries despite the vast majority of their songs being recorded in their native language. The fans don't seem to mind.. I guess it is a case either you know it or you don't. Kann man Herzen brechen Können Herzen sprechen Kann man Herzen quellen Kann man Herzen stehlen
  12. I'm sorry, but I am willing to argue that this is not Green Day - Basket case! It is Green Day, yes - but the song is "Longview" out of the album "Dookie", same album as "Basket Case". Jamie had a chance, well she really did Instead she dropped out and had a couple of kids
  13. That is neat! Looks like the steering wheel rim and spokes are molded separately! It could be a challenge just to get the rim out of the tree without breaking it I also note that the tires are made out of off-white (I suppose) soft plastic. I applaud having new manufacturers venture into car territory bringing with them new ideas on how to do it.
  14. I might be wrong, but I always thought Tamiya would have made it well if they were to produce their 1/10RC "Sand Scorcher" baja buggy as a 1/24 static plastic kit. I don't know why they didn't, but I do know I would have bought them back when the beetles were still around on the streets. Say - up until the mid-nineties. I'm not certain it would be a great idea anymore, so in my book that is a missed opportunity.
  15. Good job! I wondered if anybody would crack this one. The song is called blue moon and is really old, dating back to 1934. In 1961 The Marcels added the phonetics posted in the clue and had a hit with it.
  16. Bom ba ba bom ba bom ba bom bom ba ba bom ba ba bom ba ba dang a dang dang Ba ba ding a dong ding ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ dip di dip di dip
  17. Last night a little dancer came dancin' to my door Last night a little angel came pumping on the floor She said "Come on baby I got a license for love And if it expires pray help from above" Because
  18. Well, who would have known.. Nobody knew Jim Rea - Road to hell??
  19. REO Speedwagon - I do wanna know
  20. Your Mommy's all right Your Daddy's all right They just seem a little weird
  21. I vote yes. It would be a vast improvement over your current one.
  22. I believe the rims are meant to represent those cheesy plastic wheelcovers popular at the time.
