  3. hobby lobby sells boxes of 1000 Popsicle sticks for less than 4 bux, but if you look around the same area/isle i found and prefer the wooden coffee stir sticks. they are longer and skinnier. perfect for testors bottles and resin mixing. what do you like to use?
  4. you'll do just fine. take your time and keep a supply of new #11s handy.
  5. I use a thinned down white enamel with a slight tint of yellow over a dark primer. you could even use a blue under the thinned white to simulate the fluid at whatever level.

  9. I built this from styrene stock of different sizes/shapes and a spring from a pen.

  11. Thanks for all the great replies guys! 1 JPR The bumpers are scratch built, the rollers for the winch too. 2 Ken 5 different shades of acrylic brown and baking soda. First I shot a couple of light coats of the darkest brown and let them dry, next I shot a very wet coat of the same color and took the soda and threw it down the sides of the truck. Let it dry, then another light coat to "color" the soda. I did this a few times, using the different shades. For the tires I did the same sans the soda, then sanded the treads clean. then some aluminum metalizer on the brake rotors. B)
