  2. nice, looks like its still at the IX center, i thought it was a better show when it was downtown. 05' -my ranger -second in class at the cleveland auto rama we moved to il. in 06' and now the truck is under going a major rebuild
  3. the front end of the wagon was fubar and the 65 was missing a roof, so why not. bbc tunnel ram dominators wires/hoses/lines i already sliced the doors out so they'll be hinged. comments, criticisms and tips welcomed

  7. well i started scratch building one, and its working out well but then i found out the pinto and mustang kit had them and thats where i am now.

  9. i cleaned up the body work and laid down the base color. next up is design and mask. this will be a version of my 1:1 ranger. i used the chassis from the aoshima hilux sport truck. narrowed the track width for wheel and tire clearance. air ride will be visable and fully plumbed also will have correct 4 banger wired an plumbed
  10. side note- tooth brush and cleanser(comet,ajax,etc) a soak in caustic oven cleaner a soak in your favorite brand of brake fluid not brake cleaner

  12. for stuff like that i go to radio shack and buy a spool of small dia. wire, then cut off what i need and pull the wires out of the casing. just be sure to buy stranded wire as its easier to pull out than the solid. hope this helps ya' jim
  13. use a matte black(more gloss than flat) for the leather. wouldnt be a huge contrast but there would be a difference. could mix flat and gloss to get it.

  20. i like to do that for brake and intake ducting, looks like dryer vent tube. and with a bit of hillbilly chrome (krylon chrome) it can look pretty realistic.
  21. for hoses i like to use electrical shrink wrap. comes in all different colors and sizes. slip a piece of solder inside (making sure the tube is longer than the solder) bend to shape, heat lightly with heat source of your choice trim the ends maybe a dab of ca to seal it up and you can use smaller sizes for heater, p/s and ac hoses. you can also make duct couplers for cold air intakes and brake ducts. just cut to length and heat lightly.
