i dimpled it on purpose. this is getting a ghia top and i wanted it tighter to the body. and thank you

getting close to done with the monte so, i thought id whip this one out and start on it. ive had a few of these kits although they were the street machine version (yellow on the box)and the chasssis were already tubbed. this is the stocker/resto rods version. i already tubbed it this morning. ya gotta love a well stocked parts bin. jim

thanks the drag parts all came from the 66 chevelle max rat kit that had an unfortunate visit from the heater vent at an old house we had when i lived up north. gravity sucks! but atleast i was able to salvage all but the body. jim

whole chassis, wb and track were right on as well. i did have to lose the rear seat for the tubs. i cut the seat itself out but left the rear tray and side panels that were trimmed to the tub.

got this one yesterday. after a friends ss drag car. opened the trunk, still cutting the doors. opened up the grille, much cleaner look imo. chassis originally came from the max rat 66' chevelle not sure what the big block came with.

this was one of the first models i ever had as a kid. man, i loved that thing. ive been trying to find another for the past few years. see 'em on ebay now and then but i havent won one yet.
