  8. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!!! Love that car! Are you keeping the Box???? If not contact me PLEASE.
  9. Thanks Bill!!! I know i will be using that link quite a bit.!
  10. I think for the masses here, that if you have MORE than 8 square inches of working space, you're WAY to Organized!!!! LOL
  11. What i would do is cut the fender wells out on the transition into the fender top where the hood sits and start there. Being a gasser i would put the battery in the trunk (weight transfer you know! LOL) and then you would just have to make a brace for the rad.If you have any scrap plastic (ya right!) you can make a small shelf that rests on the frame rails. Hope this helps!
  12. i just hope my gu doesn't scare yours away! LOL
  13. i have all six and they are all the same engine by the looks of it.
  14. i want to have done for Toledo 1-Re-issue Milk Trike 2-Doyusha Milk Truck and display them both with the boxes.I have the reference pics, now i just need the motivation!!! LOL Also want to start my next Nascar Super build,i just cant decide on what car to do yet.
  15. a good thing to use for the hangers/brackets is the frames from an old photo-etch set and some small dia wire.
  16. As usual, another gorgeous build!
  17. Mike The part thats troubling,is that the fix is a few keystrokes on the press while its running. Sink marks are either not enough plastic in the mold,or (more than likely) they didn't "compress" the plastic in the mold after filling it.Think of it like when you're blowing up a baloon, when it gets harder to force air into the baloon, thats the same as the final stage of mold filling. All they have to do is alter when that happens and the sink marks are gone.
  18. HERE,HERE!!!! Glad someone said it Jairus! Are we model BUILDERS or model ASSEMBLERS? LOL (donning my firesuit, lol)
  19. John,we do have them here north of the border. My LHS got them in last wednesday, and i had one done last Saturday.GREAT kit and builds up into a gorgeous car.
  20. welcome i think i must be the luckiest modeller around,i have NEVER had a crazing problem with my Revell kits? I usr H.O.K. Tamiya, and automotive laquers. The only primer i use is either Tamiya or plasticote.
  21. MCG makes a stromberg set in resin/photo-etch. i believe they are singles but could easily be reworked into duals.
  22. i absolutely LOVE this kit.Still working on the first of four i bought, just doing it as a box stock so i can display it along side the '75 caprice i have. Plan on a lowrider as well as a pro street version as well.
  23. great score! love the old smp/amt type boxes.
  24. i myself had a banner year as well. built 49 kits and bought a grail in Toledo-59 Chev impala conv. from SMP. built but not painted, real great deal.
