Hey there Evilone, I like the idea about the rolls royce silver cloud but thats just me. I was thinking, how about using one of the 76 caprise models that comes with the trailer. It lookks pretty sinister and could be made gothic pretty easy. Just my two cents.....if its worth that much

Dude that is so cool. I got a chance to drive one the other day at one of my LHS. THe had made a small course with 2 by 4 scraps. I'm glad to see some other rc enthusiasts around here. I have a clod buster, three boats and two on-road cars one of witch is a Tamiya M03 front wheel drive Mini Cooper. I hope ya have fun with it I'm gonna get one after christmas when tax money rolls in.

I say its real. It looks like I can see the reflection of another car in the hubcap on the front tire.

A sad loss indeed, seems here lately were losing alot of old country greats, waylon, cash, chris ledoux and countless others. Man when I was a kid I loved watching the episodes of scooby doo that had jerry in em. he will be missed.

Lets see........Today I got a headache from all my wifes complaining that I have to many hobbies. I mean I only build models, paint warhammer minis. play with Rc cars, play with Rc boats, fly sport kites, collect hotwheels, play with my handguns,I'm an avid COD4 player on Xbox 360, and just for good meassure I collect stamps. I mean sheesh cant she lay off a little .

Dude that is an awesome start. I work in lexington Ky and from time to time I see a real one of these running around town. Its just an awesome ride. Good luck with the build and keep us posted.

Ok 84Vanagon this is just for you. I was trying to decide what kkit to use when it hit me. I'm gonna use a shelf sitter thats been done awhile but it lookks likke ######(not black ###### though ). I've decided to use a tamiya '72 nissan skkyline GT-R. So 84 theres your GT for your obliterator. So since I'm using a import/tuner Let the hate mail begin

I still dont see how Ebay can force sellers to use paypal. I just dont understand how they are gonna enforce it. Yeh sellers might have to sighn up for a free paypal account but it dont mean they hafta use it. If the seller and I agree to a money order as payment how is ebay even gonna kknow about it. I think there plan is full of holes and they dont have enough plugs for all of em. And just so its kknown I've never had a bad experience with paypal I just choose not to use it.

Exactly, that is what has every one tweakked is that ebay is getting greedy. And no I dont keep my money in a shoe box under my bed. I kkeep it in socks between my matresses . But really I keep it ina safe at home that is well concealed, fire proof up to about 90min. and i change the combo about twice a month. And if ya want it bad enough just keep in mind you'll prolly have to take a good chunkk of my home with ya to get it When I installed it we welded six 4ft long pieces of rebar to the backk of it and set it in about 4 inches of concrete. Add in the alarm system and when I'm home I have a shotgun close by. Anybody want directions?

Why? To me life is easier without someone else holding onto my money. I likke itsafe at home where I always know how much I have and dont have to worry about going over my limit and getting hit with a butt load of fees from the bank. I'm not knocking anybody for using a bankk or paypal its just my life is simpler that way. I live my life by the K.I.S.S. method........keep it simple stupid .

Yeah but what about us? The ones who dont have a bank account or a credit card? I've both bought and sold on ebay for about six years now and have only failed to get two Items out of hundreds of transactions and both of those were due to the post office losing them. I did at one time use paypal through a checkking account. It would takke 4 or 5 days for it to clear my account. Hell I can mail a money order anywhere in the continental US and you'll have it in three days so I get my stuff quickker than having to wait on paypal to clear my bankk. And anyway how can ebay stop you from accepting money orders? Are they gonna come to your house and arrest us for accepting them and not using paypal? And as long as they get there money from fees I dont see why ebay would even give a rats a$$ how we get our money. I just dont see it possible for them to makke us stop using money orders and checkks. Okk I'm done now.

I agree with Jantrix, I have a wife and child to tend to,as well as a busy work schedule myself. And also You have to take into consideration this buildoff will be running through the holidays and for alot of us that will cut even more deeply into build time what with traveling and the extra family we will be dealing with. On another note I will try to get my unbuilt photos posted pretty close to the 22nd. I dont own a diggi cam and I dont have a clue on how to post photos,but a close friend has offered me his help depending on scheduling with our jobs.

Hey guys I just had a brainstorm(my wife says it was more of a brain fart but,whatever ) How bout we coincide the start of the buildoff with the movie premiere Aug 22. that way it gives everyone about another week or so to get all there stuff together. just a thought

What about cutting the tranny off of the kit engine and grafting it to another block? I started one of these a couple off years ago, got the body painted and decaled. Then it happened. I was looking at it one day, I popped the window glass out, painted it black, made a custom mount out of sheet styrene and mounted the body on my lifted Xmod truckk chassis. Ran the truckk for a while, a friend of mine saw it and offered me a stupid amount of money for it so it found a new home.

Man that thing is awesome. Great job! I really like the first set of pics when its first coming together cause in the rear quaters it looks lie you first had to fix the typical ford rust out over the back wheels.

Are the tires to tight around the rims forceing them off? If so maybe you could try removing some material from the inside diameter of the tire to make the opening a little larger. Good luck

Man that thing is awesome. I've had this it on the back burner for awhile and pulled it out a few hours ago and gave it another look. Mine is gonna be a fenderless job with a engine out of a li'l gasser. Well keep up the good workk. later
