Thank you Tim and as always, your input on the review you did helped greatly. You are the best!!!!!

Thank you, that is Alclad Aluminum....

I used Tamiya Bare Metal Silver but it was still a bit too dark so I cleared the entire hood, masked from the edge of the decals at the perimeter and shot silver again....

Thank you my friend, I actually ordered Bright Blue Metallic for it which is a factory color but MCW sent me this one.....

Had a lot of fun with this one fellas! Paint is MCW Finishes Lacquer Acapulco Blue, not a color used in that year for this car but it certainly looks the part. Clear is 2K by Splash Colors. Just added a few small details on the engine and interior but this is basically a box stock build. Kudos to Revell for this finely engineered kit, it is highly recommended!

I don't use the Tamiya Panel Line wash for my panel lines, I like using the MIG washes for that, these are thinner in consistency than the Tamiya Panel Line alternative. My trick has always been to scribe very deeply and wash right on the plastic even before adding any primer. After this, I don't have to address the panel lines any longer....

Used PPG Eruption Green for the color sent to me by a good friend. Wheels and tires are from Fireball Modelworks. Fun kit to build and very well engineered.

Thank you my friend, the show is currently held in Boyertown, just a few miles west of Gilberstsville. Still a great show though I prefer judge style ones myself....

Definitely more of a car guy than a motorcycle enthusiast but fell in love with this kit when I saw it on the shelves at the hobby store. I had some leftover paint from Scale finishes from a previous model I had painted and thought it would work just right on this. Paint is Scalefinishes Lexus Liquid Blue topped with a sweet, shiny and reflective Splash 2K clear which really made it pop. To enhance reality, I used a Hobby Design,Yamaha XV1600 Roadstar Detail-Up Photo-Etch Set specifically designedfor this Tamiya kit. Had a lot of fun putting this one together!

2K is not very different from your regular clear my friend but yes, if you are not careful, you will definitely finish with that "dipped in syrup" look. I just do two even coats with ten minute intervals and for my last coat, I thin the mix a tad more and shoot a final wet coat being careful I don't add too much paint. That last thinned coat will smooth everything up as it's drying. Once dry, I will look for any debris in the paint, wet sand, smooth and finish up with a good polishing. My best advice is to master the use of a good polishing system.....

This one was put together for a Corvette group build in Facebook. Paint is Splash Factory color Fathom Green Metallic with a Splash 2K Clear. I used the tires from the Revell '32 Ford Sedan Street Rod. I added Pegasus Aluminum Sleeves with Rally Wheel centers from my wheel stash and did a little modification to get them to play nice together. I removed the chrome from the bumpers and decided to chrome these myself using AK Interactive Extreme Metal paint which is basically just another Alclad paint though I find this one to be a bit more durable as well as a bit more reflective. I used the 327 engine from the kit but decided to add a few aftermarket parts to it. Moroso valve covers are from Iceman Collections which I chromed. Fuel regulator is also from Iceman Collections as well as the intake manifold. Carburetor is from Fireball Modelworks. I used RB Motion braided hoses and A/N Fittings for the plumbing of the carb. Interior color and paint is from Testors. I also used various Photo-Etch details from The Model Car Garage for the emblems. This was truly an fun build. Icing on the cake? Yes, a little trophy from a local Model Car Show!

Enjoyed it very much at the meeting my friend, great job. I even went out that day and purchased the industrial Sharpie Marker you mentioned and I love it. Thanks for the advice.... -

AMT 2021 Dodge Charger R/T. Testors Go Mango with Dupli-Color 1K clear, wetsanded and polished. Wheels and tires from Geronimo Works, stock number GW-14LTP. Don't think twice and go out and order some stuff from this guy, I mean, look at those badass rims/tires! Had a lot of fun putting this one together, very nice new tooled kit from AMT. If I decide to do another one, I want it to be either a Hell Cat or a Scat Pack. Either way, I know it will definitely look a lot more intimidating than this one.....

Yes my friend, I used the dash from the Moogram RX7 kit to accomplish this. Don't hold your breath on the release of an American version, it's not difficult to perform this task using the Monogram kit....
