1998 Corvette Indy PaceCar

Here is my Corvette Pace Car from 1998. A Revell kit that is painted GM Radar Blue base coat with catalysed clear. This kit gave me trouble with the decals as the were very brittle. I bought 3 kits to have it right.

Beside that it is built box stock. I like the result, what do you think.

  The results look like the effort was worth it. Really good looking Paint And Decals. And the Engine compartment ain't shabby either.

Nice model- Purple and yellow just don't work for me on a Corvette though. But I know these are the right colors for this car. Good job on the build though.

Excellent build. I have this kit and one day will try to make mine come out as nice as yours. 

1998 was my first attended Indy race, I recall the parade of these through downtown Indy the day before the race. I have the collectors jacket for this car too.

Thank you for the comments. I agree this was a wild colour combo. It surely grab attention when driving downtown, not sure I'd enjoyed it but it is beautiful in it's own way...Anyway this is a must in a Corvette collection I'm building...
