Scalper Posted October 29, 2020 Author Posted October 29, 2020 Engine bay pretty much completed. My other 57 Chevy is neck and neck with this one
Scalper Posted October 29, 2020 Author Posted October 29, 2020 Some pretty nasty mold lines in the front bumper. This is not acceptable. Time to fix. Sanding stick and molotow to the rescue
Scalper Posted November 8, 2020 Author Posted November 8, 2020 Lots of sanding and scrapping to make the bumper guards fit. Time to paint them again
Scalper Posted November 8, 2020 Author Posted November 8, 2020 Starting to look like a 57’ bumper on and turned on the radio

TransAmMike Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Wow, not famillier with that one. Looks like it has custom wheels. Isn't that a big block Chevy engine on your model. Does it come with that?
TooOld Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 Looks like you've overcome some issues and it's looking really great ! Good job fitting the front bumper !
Scalper Posted November 10, 2020 Author Posted November 10, 2020 Thanks Guys, The kit comes with a pretty nice 350. Thanks Bob. Did I mention missing sprue as well. . Had to find and sand down 4 wheel inserts to make the wheels fit.. I bet you my master brake cylinder is on that same sprue
TransAmMike Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 I know thats of course a discontinued kit, but in doing a google search, as usually you can at least find one for sale, no where can I find a seller of one.

TransAmMike Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Looking good Andre, and thanks for the Ebay info. Gotta think about that for those prices.
TransAmMike Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Andre, I'm BMFoiling my Gasser '57 now. Your job on the trim looks great. Wondering though, is that foil on the vent windows? I seem to always have problems doing them.
