junkyardjeff Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Picked it up already started and only the body was done and will try to do the rest of it the same way but the rest of the parts might be different colors to make it look like a project, going to use the frame from a Revell 40 standard and a Y block
426 pack Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Looks good so far. Great job wethering it.
junkyardjeff Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 I did not do the weathering and hope to be able to match it.
doggie427 Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Looking good so far ,but the ‘37 is 1/24th and the Revell ‘40 is 1/25th. The wheelbase might not quite line up.

junkyardjeff Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 Its starting to look like something now, actually the wheelbase is not too far off and those era of cars seemed to have the rears not centered. added some brush primer where I sanded through to the white.
junkyardjeff Posted December 25, 2017 Author Posted December 25, 2017 The regular Y block exhaust manifolds hit the firewall and since no one makes the big truck Y block rams horn manifolds I had to use them from a sbc.
junkyardjeff Posted January 3, 2018 Author Posted January 3, 2018 Its done now but look what I found in my parts stash, the trailer from the convertible kit that will also get weathered.
junkyardjeff Posted January 6, 2018 Author Posted January 6, 2018 Trailer has been primed and painted, when it dries time to sand through the paint.
