El Caballo Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 I finished it and it went pretty well but I got one that is a little warped out of the mold. :-/ But, it represents what I would like to have anyway.
AC Norton Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 ............Funny, I have been working on this exact kit now, off and on, for quite some time. Good to see one built with the cammer setup and such....if actually ever finish mine, I'll post as well ...lol....if it happens.........thanks for sharing, the Ace...
El Caballo Posted January 16, 2018 Author Posted January 16, 2018 This is the 1:1 version I found after I started building the car.
DumpyDan Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 Looks good, not one of my favorite cars but looks good
vintagercr Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 I remember building this kit in the 70's and using ball point pen springs in the rearend and it was the same colour as the 1:1 car you show. Memories
fiatboy Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 I remember my Dad (and I) going to the Ford dealer to pick out his company car. I think I was about 14 y.o. They had one of these 7 Litre Galaxies on the show-room floor. I went 'to work' on my Dad to get him to choose this beautiful red beast! Didn't work though, but this car has always been one of my very favorite big Fords. It is styled to look not massive or large. Rather, long and lean!
