Irish Murphy
I am working on the AMT 72 Bobby Allison Monte Carlo. Does anyone make any aftermarket old style window nets? The thin string type. If not any ideas how I can make one? ThanksĀ Edited January 17, 2018 by Irish Murphy
iBorg
Go to a fabric store and look at wide ribbons. Some of those my work. Another possibility is actual nylon window screen material. The problem with that is getting it to be flexible in a window down usage. I've never tried it but maybe you could sand it to make it more flimsy. Crankenstien
got fix is the fiber or vinyle window screen in storm windows as for thread well I would use match sticks would use aluminum wire and thin slices of duct tape or clear sounds odd maybe but it can be used for cage padding to then painted have used the screen idea for grill's works pretty good cheap to
