He drove a smart race and kept his head at the end, knowing the two guys ahead had to stop for fuel one last time. He also did not try to pass Charlie Kimball on the last lap. J. R. Hildebrand tried that in 2012 and it cost him the race on the last lap. Oriol Servia had to make a desperate splash-and-go stop, but at that wound up 17th. The cars look better but there seems to be less action in terms of passing due to the reduced down force over all. Plus less drafting.
