DRH_97 Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 This project started out as an MPC Rat Trap Vega, and somehow morphed into a modified similar to what might have raced at Bowman Gray Stadium. The body was constructed from .030 and .40 sheet styrene. I reworked the front clip, added a different radiator and shocks. Construction images have been posted to the Workbench forum.
Dave Van Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Nice work!! Been to Bowman Gray....it is fighter jets in a gym!!!

randyc Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Why "what might have been"? Other than the livery. It looks just like the cars that ran in the 90s and up other than they run wide fives. I haven't been in several years - last trip didn't end well; made a vow to never return. Looks great for a BGS car.
DRH_97 Posted August 30, 2021 Author Posted August 30, 2021 Thanks! The chassis is from the MPC Rat Trap Vega
