afx Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 (edited) With the help of a fellow forum member I was able to track down a teardrop hood scoop and fabricated this hood. In addition to fitting the hood scoop I added styrene strips along both edges of the hood to tighten up the fit which was rather sloppy. Please note you may need to perform minor sanding on the hood edges to fit it to your chosen body, much easier to remove a little material than to add it. Also the "FORD" letters where removed after these photos were taken and are not present on the resin copies. I then asked Norm at Replicas & Miniatures to cast it for me and he has decided to add it to his catalog. If you are interested in ordering please contact Replicas & Miniatures. vamach1 Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Great work JC. Glad to see Norm is back providing what modelers want. Will he be at the Mid-Atlantic NNL next month? How about Brad?
