Edmonton Speedway Revival - Aug 20th

Local racetrack hosted their 3rd annual Speedway Revival event this weekend.

Hosted by the Northern Alberta Sports Car Club.

 

Car show, mostly occupied by the local Z Club, plus some old school racing. Quite something to see and hear some old McLarens and Ferraris hammering around a track.

the volvo looks completely outclassed in that group, or was clark griswald driving it? i bet they had the most fun though

The Volvo finished 4th in the race it was in! Doesn't look like much, but it was quick.

Same with that black 928. Car looks pretty ratty, but was def one of the faster cars there.

Awesome photos of some very impressive cars. I always loved the Datsun 240Z to 260Z cars. Of course if I owned one I would be swapping out that inline 6 for a small block Chevy... It must have been a treat to see those old SCCA and IMSA race cars.
