1971 K&K Insurance Charger chassis color.

  Wanted to ask what would be the correct color for the chassis?  Thanks.

I believe, in that era, the chassis was typically body color.  For the K & K car I believe the color was called "poppy red".

Checked thru my albums and came up with these shots of a Charger 500 undercarriage, tho’  not sure if it’s the K&K ride, suspect it is as I was searching for it at the time.

Yes the K&K car was Ford Poppy red inside and out top to bottom.
