horsepoweraddict
This is John Mazmanian's 41 willys. I was trying to replicate the car from 1966. The only thing that is incorrect in my eyes is the ladder bar suspension and I realize that, but I wasn't going to chop up the frame just to change the suspension. I think the only other thing I changed were the front wheels and different windows from another 41. It took me about a month to build the car. It had been sitting on the shelf for about 8 years until I finally decided to build it. This was my first attempt at bare metal foil I feel it was a success for a first timer. Hope you enjoy it!!! The best reference pic I could find online of the real car My version

Dragline
Looks great! Mazmanian's cars were always so clean and shiny. You captured it. Keep building. Dragline

horsepoweraddict
I appreciate the kind words guys. gasserfreak: I have the swc version I'll building sometime this year hopefully, and the windows aren't red I actually used clear windows from another 41 and tinted them tamyia orange with a paint brush and gravity and they suprisingly turned out alright to better replicate the real car. I'm working on an integra, a Gremlin modified, and a Buick Wildcat right now
