  1. Great build. I am building one of these right now as well I have been working on it on and off for awhile, I know what you mean on the instructions. I also thought they chromed way to many pieces on the kit. Yours turned out great though, good job on the weathering I like it.
  2. Dream Car: 1965 El Camino Bagged with a 572 big block Dream Pre-War Street Rod: 1933 Willy's
  3. Congrats!!! Good lookin kid. Someone new to share the hobby with, who knows he could be a model car building prodigy in the future.
  4. I'd leave them as they are and store them in a inglassed cabinet. Your dad built them and if those were my dad's builds I would leave them as my dads builds. For me it would be something to remember him and his history of building by. I wish I had some of the models my dad built in the early 60's but heck they are long long gone, just my opinion.
  5. SWEET!!! Lets go racing boys.
  6. awesome. my dream is to have a 1:1 of these one day only in a different color black or blue. perfect stance!!! Nice Truck!!!
  7. 1970 buick wildcat Lowered the axles and the wheels are off the goodguys 1930 woody The paint doesn't look the best with the camera flash cause the purple was somewhat transparent with white base underneath, looks better in person. The body had some massive waves had to do some filler work otherwise was a good, fun, easy build.
  8. Well there is nothing bad to say about these build cause they are all spot on. amazing work!!!
  9. wow this thing is cool!!! reminds of what a rat rod might look like if it was revived and turned into a dragster. cool truck!!!
  10. The srt8 and r/t challenger curbside kits are out. I just picked up a srt8 today at a local hobby shop.
  11. great bodywork. This is gonna be a great build but I have to say those wheels don't do this build any justice. It's your build but I would find something more pro touring or old skool for the wheels those things are to donk for my taste and this era of a vehicle, just my opinion.
  12. I'm not much a corvette fan but this thing is dead on. It looks like a real 1:1 corvette to me. Awesome work!!!
  13. what an all around excellent build!!! looks perfect to me. Looks like you built yourself a very cool car.
  14. They are probably trying to appeal to people who need a family size car which makes sense. Most families need more room than a boxter or carrera can offer. They are probably gonna try and compete with mercedes now with the four door, trying to appeal to the high class folks who like to throw their money out the window.
  15. I love Buicks!!! This is just awesome what a great car you've built. Love it!!!
  16. sign up with photobucket and transfer the pics then use the bottom link on each photo I think its HTMl copy and paste to your posts.
  17. sad story. I am not a big cat fan though as I am allergic to them. I am dog lover though. happens everyday I bet you live and die those are the only two sure things in life.
  18. I'm dissapointed I didn't buy one didn't look to exciting from the box art and then hearing what has been said here. The special edition one is a much better buy more options and better possibilities for a custom or stock build.
  19. You are a genious that is awesome!!! That will keep the fingerprints off of it. Very cool work.
  20. 1/24 F-100 Its a full on custom with toyota minitruck frame partially sectioned with the stock frame so I could put a engine in it. The engine is out of a camaro its blown 350 and I'm gonna have to make custom headers and exhaust. the engine is gonna fit all under the hood. The bed had to have some major mods to get the c frame to fit under it. I'm making scratchbuilt running boards for it. Its also the first time doing opening doors for me so I want to take my time make sure I get it right. I guess the biggest thing holding me back on this project is the weather because I paint outdoors and i want the conditions to be perfect because I would really like to see this truck turn out nice after spending alot of time on it. I had no choice but to start other projects to keep me busy well I was unemployed. It doesn't bother me at all working on multiple projects at one time. Here are some pics of the F-100.
  21. looks great!!! perfect stance.
  22. I liked the first and second one, tokyo drift the plot and story weren't that good I thought. This one looks good from the previews. The first one was my favorite and I think this is the final movie from what they say.
