mrmike
This is my Galaxie 500 7 Litre that was inspired by the 1:1 car that Jay Leno owns. Paint is Tamiya TS-54 Light Blue Metallic with a semi-gloss black interior.

highway
That looks great, Joe. I thought when I read "Inspired by Master Chin" this might have been that car! Wasn't the real car featured on the Speed Channel show hosted by Dennis Gage? If I rememver it correctly, Jay said that was the first car his dad let him spec, so Jay checked every option box he could!

W-409
That's looking good. I like that colour on it and paintjob looks great! Goos job with all those details on the engine and interior looks very good too! It's nice to see this finished. I was looking for that WIP topic, it was great! Thank you for sharing this one! mrmike
Thanks everyone! I went back and looked at the pictures I took and noticed a couple of things that needed correcting. The rear bumper was too low on the drivers side, the left front wheel was out of alignment, and the gap between the grille and the body. All these things were corrected and I'll try to get new pics posted soon. Brian, Jay would be proud, especially if the model was painted burgundy! charlie8575
Missed this when you first posted it, Mike. That looks very nice. The light blue/black isn't a bad combination at all, either. I have one of those downstairs, never did figure out how I wanted to build it, and you've given me some ideas. Charlie Larkin

mrmike
Thank you Charlie, Dave, and Virgil! After the polishing, this paint really shined and it just looked perfect for this car. It's definitely one of my favorite builds!
