jdmfan Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) Here's a 70 super bee that ive been working on for a couple weeks . i opened up the door and scrath built the vents on the side and the hood scoop. i painted it plum crazy purple with lin grey interior with black accents. The front seats are from a skyline r33. I made racing harrness for it . The roll cage was scrath built with solder the paint tamiya purple . I also added the door catches to the door jam. The wheel are from my parts box i added lips to front and rear . Bigger in the rear to be 20's and 18's in the front. the motor is a 426 that i turned into a fuel injection set up with stacks. i made the headers , wired it up , ran fuel/brake lines . I'm sure i missed a few things . Hope you enjoy . Let me know what you think. Edited March 15, 2012 by jdmfan
Sixties Sam Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Very cool! Great finish, and the door latch details are a nice touch. Good looking engine, too! Sam
Steven7319 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 That's cool. Very nice details and a great colour.
rv1963 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 (edited) Great work on your Super bee nice paint and i love those engine details, i have one question the raised scoop you added on the rear quarters was this an option because i have seen this on some cars and others are missing it. Yahshu Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Mighty Mean Mopar ya have there, reminds me of a Plum Floored creation from a few years back.
hotrod59f100 Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Saaaaaaaaweeeeet lol . I don't care for to many dodges but I'd rock that baby btw the hating of dodges comes from a crapy ram with 3 rear ends and a Durango with 4 trans and a blown head . I used to love mopars.
phatfender Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Very nice Super Bee. Great looking engine and love the Plum Crazy paint. My favorite color on any Mopar..

socalbuckeye Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Awesome ride! My son said "oh...that's a model...it looks like a real car!" Ben Grasso would be proud...http://plumfloored.com/1970-dodge-coronet-plumfloored/ I have been wanting to build the green version of this car for a while but haven't gotten to it.....http://plumfloored.com/1970-mutant-bee/ Spectacular work! Question, where did you come up with/how did you make the fuel injection set up?
jdmfan Posted April 3, 2012 Author Posted April 3, 2012 (edited) I used reference pics from the plum floored car . Then I used Detail master flared exhaust tip for the intakes and a small piece of alum rod for the fuel rails . I made a flat intake manifold and drilled holes into it and epoxied the tips in . I started to build the mutant a while back but ended up painting it candy red as I couldn't get the right green Awesome ride! My son said "oh...that's a model...it looks like a real car!"
