JunkPile Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 That finish reminds me of a few cars in Wichita, KS that had a "flocking" of sort instead of shiny paint or primer on the body. This was around 1970 or earlier. The ones I remember were a van and a VW Bug. There were more. They appeared to be covered in carpet kind of like astro-turf if I remember right. A couple of them were in Darrell Starbirds events. Thanks for the look back in history.
