dmk
Has this kit ever been re-released? Do you guys think Round 2 will ever release it? Edited January 10, 2013 by dmk

dmk
Thanks for the reply CrazyJim. I actually bought one of those just for the body to kit bash one. The AMT kit was cool though for all the extra parts it had. 3 in 1 with two engines and a lot of custom parts. http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/instruction_sheetsh/instruction_sheets/amt-8/amt-63-corvette-6520/ I remember building the AMT kit when I was a kid. It was the first kit I can remember that came out really nice. Probably due to my experimenting with masking and using spray paint where ever possible ( long before I had an airbrush). Casey
Has this kit ever been re-released? At least five or six times, and I think this was the most recent re-issue:
dmk
Was that released by Round 2?
Casey
I don't believe it was. The above pictured 2002 RC2 release seems to be the most recent.
Dan Helferich
An interesting note about the issue Casey shows is that it contains both of the roadster up tops which were not in the last issue of the roadster. However, the roadster kit does have the glass for the up tops. These are very simple kits but I think AMT nailed the body so they look good built. High octane
I may have an AMT '63 Split Window Coupe kit available. PM me and I'll look.
Dan Helferich
I picked up 2 of the last issue for $10 each, factory sealed, at different toy shows last year. They are out there!

Thanks anyway Nick, but after some research, I think I'm going to try kit bashing the Revell '67 chassis with the '63 Snap kit body.
