vamach1
I still need to add the oil coolers, dist & wiring, carb air box & top, rear support bar/bracket, fuel pumps, marker lights, tire decals and maybe a spare tire. For those of you wondering this is an old Thunder Valley transkit with Studio 27 photo etched parts, the base from the Fujumi kit, the engine kit from Historic Racing Miniatures and an extra part or two from an IMC kit. I started this many years ago before the Fujumi MarK I's came out. Edited January 11, 2014 by vamach1

GlueTube
Good job. Those grommets on the seats must have been a bear to paint! Regards Brian Kroon

jaydar
Very nice build! What all comes in the Thunder Valley transkit? Do you think it is better than the Historic Miniatures engine set? Thanks, Joe.
vamach1
The Thunder Valley kit has a nice body and machined wheels. The engine is bad and is a knock-off of the MPC MKIV engine with Gurney heads. With the Fujumi MKI you can make basically the same thing with the Historic Miniatures engine and suspension, etc. The Thunder Valley kit was pricey ($100) 20 years ago so even it you could find one who knows how much it would cost. jaydar
Vamach1. Thanks for the information. Fujimi and HRM is probably the way I am going. Joe.
Quick GMC
I have the HRM resin engine/suspension kit. It looks great, but I'll be cutting off the Weber stacks and using the turned stacks from RB Motion. The parts are crisp, though
