Is there a list somewhere of the models that are curbside? Being relatively new to the hobby after a 50 year layoff, it sure would be nice to know which ones are.

If you want a curbside model car, just glue the hood shut and build the rest of the kit. Curbside usually means no engine, and slammer or slammed usually means no engine or interior.

Thanks for the reply. I know what a curbside model consists of but I'd just like to know what I'm getting before I buy it. The Fujimi GT 40 and Chrysler Concept Car are both curbside. I didn't know that when I bought them,

That's a good one. You would probably have to read all the magazine and online reviews to find out. I have never seen a list of curbsides and if anyone has else I'd like to see it too.

A suggestion would be to ask here before making a purchase.

AMT has new curbside kits called show room replicas and are on the round 2 website and they are on the model roundup website also. I remember there is a 70 Buick wildcat that is a curbside and that would be a ebay kit and also AMT, did the Pontiac grand prix as a snap preprinted kit and a gt40 also hope this helps...

Way too many to list - at least, reasonably.

I would, as stated before me, google and read reviews before purchase.

Also, some kits, like AMT 1964 Galaxie, came as a full detail and curbside, so...yeah - research tools are your best bet.
