JoeBrown
i have no clue for colors its in gray primer for right now just to see something other then white. and the kit came with a 427 so probably going to stick with that. other then that and the lowered stance its a blank slate

impcon
Those look SO good in the medium brown with a white roof and sitting at stock height - bench seat in the front, little hubcaps and that light brown/gold colour inside... kinda like this - but with a white roof.. Belugawrx
Wow those were left in the easy off for a long time:) Good to see you back at it Joe As far as washes,.. Watered down acrylic flat black does a nice job.....depends on what you want to weather? You mean the engine or....?
Belugawrx
On the engine I would wash in a grungy rust red....hull red Tamiya. Or thinned med. brown testors
JoeBrown
yea I'm going with a rusted/ neglected look and never have done any of this lol. and that was only like 10 mins in bleach
Sledsel
Another engine option is the Revell 66 Shelby 289 or the conv base 289. Is that an early or later release? I know the original releases there was no place to mount the front bumper.
JoeBrown
this is the most recent release. the "special edition"
JoeBrown
so this past month has been very stressful. we were forced to move and it was not enjoyable. previous house (we rented) went under foreclosure and then public auction. so here is a little update on this car. as you can see I'm using diffent intake and valve covers then the kit supplies.... i accidentally put the parts in a little thinner after chroming to get the clear cote off and the parts melted. and i was furious. if anyone has an intake alternator, carbs, and valve covers there not using let me know Edited March 31, 2015 by JoeBrown
wayne swayze
If you want a neglected, aged look, I'm sure there a lots of tutorials here on this site by guys that really know their stuff! I haven't seen one of these cars for quite a while, and would be cool to see one weathered. Hope things work out for you.
