'71 Hemi Cuda

Revell 1/24 '71 HEMI® 'Cuda Hardtop

I saw this model at my local drug store and it was on sale, so I got it.

This is a picture of the painted body sitting on the frame:

I put some 19" rims with low profile tires on it, I think they look much better than the stock ones that come with the kit

I need to do a little detail work with the black strip, but i really like it on the lime green.

and of course The Hemi:

Color wise it looks good. Can you get it a tad lower ?

The color looks better with natural light, I will try to get pictures tomorrow. The green looks alot better without the yellow glow from the dinning room light.

As far as the height...first the body is just sitting on the frame and might come down a bit when finish putting it together. Second, this is only my fourth model and I am just nicely starting to experiment with altering from the instructions...ya know baby steps.

That's for the feedback though.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm trying to be a better builder myself. I just put this kit together too. I didn't spend much time on it, I did it in a couple days and it shows.

Mopar engine bays were painted the same color as the body.
