You're doing a heck of job on it! I like it! The interior is really nicely done. How did you do the wheels gold like that? Keep up the great work on it, I'm a big fan of custom vans!

I have always wondered why there is no interior on those van kits? I like what you have done on yours.

Yeah, it would've been nice to see a nice custom interior in them.

I'm working on my van kit as much as possible. Yours looks great Janne!

The only one I've seen of those vans that came with the kit was the early 70's issue like the Fire Van that could be built as an ambulance, passenger van, cargo van, or fire chief's van.

Thanks again!

Other weard thing on this kit is that it has detailed engine and firewall but hood is not separate part  Well its not big deal to make almost whole interior in scracth and then cut hood open and make hinges for it and then add some more little things to get nice model :lol: or wait....IS it?:P But this is one of best looking van kits so ill just have to deal with it B)

Same with the 1/20th kit I'm working on... Detailed engine, hood doesn't open. Go figure...

The side and rear doors open, but the driver and passenger doors don't either.

Well anywho, I'm looking forward to seeing more of yours as you work on it!

Any updates Janne? I like what your doing with it!

I see you don't like vans Jeff! B) Those look really good!

The Dodge with the big the big window in the side, is that a kit, or did you customize it yourself? It looks like the van from the movie "The Van"...

A nice way to get the springs with even spacing is to wrap the wire around a wood screw of the appropriate size and thread.

Looking good! B)

You guys are taking me kicking and screaming back to the 70s. I do like all the s-c-r-a-t-c-h built parts. Now all it needs is an off the wall paint job.

I have never built a van. But I think I might. There is just so much room for....stuff...ya know, what ever, useless junk is fun.

Hertsi- That is an awesome project. What kit is that? Jeff, I love the ford 4x4 van 2nd from the bottom in your pictures!!!! I am in a wheelchair and have been wanting to build a couple different vans, and scratchbuild some wheelchair lifts for them!

Thank you guys! Sorry no updates yet, i did some inventory of my modelkits and parts in last 2 days. Van is going to have some nice custom paintjob, but ill have to practice to make it first. So on this week ill make just little things on van and i will paint some scallops in 49 Merc as a practice. NO van does not going to hava scallops :)

Jeff: Your vans look great!!

Rudy: This is AMT:s "Nirvana" Custom Chevy Van Modelkit.
