Great job on the weathering. I can't remember which Ford kit has heads that has the rockers which would look cool. A 427 Cobra body was made of aluminum and most kits are fiberglass.

It does look good (would probably look a little better if the pictures weren't sideways).

vamach1 is correct too, in that real Cobras had aluminum bodies (aluminum doesn't rust) and most of the reproductions were fiberglass (which also doesn't rust).

So if that brown stuff on your model is supposed to be rust, you might want to rethink it. If it's accumulated dirt and debris, it looks very realistic.

Overall it does look convincing, and those blue tarps are a nice touch. Please don't be offended by my remarks. I'm REALLY trying to be helpful.

Okay, thanks for the help!

Here's a quick story,

The original owner bought it new

He totaled it at a Road track race

The second owner bought it it 1976

Which it has a gold motor

He sold it in 1983

The third owner found big cracks in the aluminum (I don't know if "cracks" are accurate) so he replaced the aluminum with steel
