The MDA Model Car Contest is part of a three-day, full-size Hot Rod & Custom Car show that is held March 1-3. The Model Car Contest and Show is held ONLY on Saturday March 2 from 9:00AM to 4:00PM.

$12.00 Ticket to the MDA Car Show. Kids, $3.00. Your paid admission into the car show allows you to enter as many models as you want at no additional charge.

Thank you for the information, Dennis. Fellow builders, you cannot go wrong if you are able to attend this event. Where else can you find a full-size car show, a model car contest and a swap meet all under one roof during the winter months? I attended this event the last two years and will testify that Dennis and company put on a very good event! I drive 3+ hours to this one and am always happy with the time and money spent. I'm so glad this was posted!!! I was beginning to wonder if their was anyone on the fourms that lived/ traveled to Va in Modeling. I want to go but the G/F B-Day plans are this weekend. Maybe next year.
