  1. Thanks .... When I get home ill check , I wrote the measurements on random card board when I was doing this , ill check tonight and pm you .. If you have the extended cab , you dont need to much to extend , tricky part is cutting it as even as possible , if not leave room so when you clean the cuts evenly you dont take of too much plastic ...
  2. another update ........ i scratch built some dually fenders from the quarter panels of the escalade.....with some sanding and putty it will be oem ..
  3. little more progress ..... long bed is taking its shape >>> i shaved the lower moldings , added some putty , STILL needs to be sanded >>>>> filled in the missing gap for the cab >>> and got some new wheels underside of new long bed conversion got some new wheels of a italeri western star kit , 1/24 scale , using aoshima 18" tires stretched on mock up >>>>> and here is where the resin truck rims will end up on after some thinking
  4. THANKS ^^^^^^^ lil update , i recieved a donor body and bed from dave zinn . so long bed will be in progress . as well as the missing gap on the cab .
  5. layed out the 572 ......... glued the heads on , glued trans together... might blow out the 572 sanded first coat of putty on the rear door panel more putty work started working on tailgate this evening ... im using the escalade taillight assembly but staying with silverado lenses
  6. this is real sweet man ! .... i think you can squeeze a racing mini cooper in there , like a transporter , and have a lounge type thing going on for the crew , idk just ideas in my head ... or a real long pimp status van , pool inside , etc......

  11. Grayghost , when I get home ill post the link to the website , I picked up the resin engine at a model show last weekend in upstate new york , they had quite a bit of resin products the company that sells this motor... They had like 3 different styles of 572
  12. Tooltas , ill look into those wheels ... I was thinkin of just tubbing out this truck with dually wheels without the dually fenders ..... I have to search for those diecast trucks , looks like there wheels might be to big ...

  15. escalade front on ..... rear door panel , another view interior floor pan stretched early mock up before putty = resin truck rims i picked up from a private seller at nnl east , no name brand , and he only had one set ... might go a diferent route on wheels , this is what i have for now .
  16. hello everyone , i havent posted much on this forum , so ima try to post some stuff soon . Here is a project i got last week at fulton ny model show . It's a revell '99 silverado p/u custom . I also bought the revell escalade SUV . I got a nice amount of work done on it this week . With alot of projects going on you may see slow progress on this build . here are some plans for this build , subject to change at any time PLAN's :: = custom crew cab conversion = escalade front end conversion = escalade rear bumper conversion = escalade tailgate conversion = escalade rear valances = resin 572 big block engine = scratch built frame (body drop) = custom interior to compliment crew cab all for now ..... main project kit being used donor kit conversion is under way escalade rear doors , customized for crew cab escalade rear bumper conversion , escalade rear valances , fillers added under taillights rear end shot

  19. G , thanks lol ... Wheels can be hard to match up to certain kits now a days , I try my best ... Intmd8r , I just did a wild build , with no theme per say , lol , just made some stuff , and add some stuff , and boom... ... I have some real nice projects coming along for this winter... Next spring you guys will see some real neat builds... Engine details , exterior mods to name a few...
