This tamiya Honda S2000 was built for a contest , called "stancewars" , ends in a few days on june 30 , 2012 . This WAS A GREAT CHALLENGE , not only to build something that can have a chance of winning , but to do so much scratch building , finding parts , paint process , in 4 months time , for me , that was insane . The project is finished and I am more than happy with it . I had my ups and downs with this project . TAMIYA morris mini cooper 1275S Mk.1 ..painted gloss black here is a list off things i added : *revell honda civic swap (bseries) *revell acura rsx steering wheel *revell 1993 honda civic pillar guages *revell toyota supra tachometer *revell honda civic si rear speaker decals *tamiya honda civic 4dr tow hook *tamiya honda S800 center hub caps *tamiya honda S2000 seats *tamiya honda S2000 cluster *amt bel air steelies+hoppin hydro 2 tone dayton wheels= deep dish steelies ---Also, from a dodge muscle car I added "SUPER B" LICENSE PLATES for the touch of the BSWAP I put in it, also on front fenders I put a "BEE" decal to match the theme.... on trunk it has a "DOHC VTEC" decal........enjoy!!

^ thanks everyone .... Hey scott , I used a spray kit from dupli color ,called shadow .... Its two parts , the shadow can which is transparent black , that you shoot over anything chrome , then special clearcoat that seals it and makes it more durable and shiny.... All I did was clean any chrome parts with dish deteregent and warm water , dried the parts good , then sprayed , the more coats you add , the darker the shade ..... Its pricey , but what isn't now a days lol ...

^ hehehe , thanks , thats a great compliment there .... the real car doesnt have much either , but the owner of the real car goes for the engine detail and power , thats what he is known for ..... im still learning , just trying to keep building and learn new techniques.....

heres the revell tuner series 1993 honda civic , didnt like that your only option is a bodykit . I used to own one of these and oem look is great . So I was dissappointed when I bought it , I built it and left it alone till one day I decided to take the challenge to "de- rice" the revell kit . here is a list of modz made to the car : EXTERIOR- *switched back to oem body *carbon fiber doors,fenders,hood,trunk *opened sunroof *cut rear bumper *milano red paint from honda *scratched build radiator support INTERIOR- *STRIPPED/GUTTED LOOK *simpson aluminum racing seat *jdm momo eg6 steering wheel *RSX type s CLUSTER *apex-i afc *passwordjdm carbon fiber airbag delete *passwordjdm carbon fiber fuel pump cover *skunk2 trunk strut bar SUSPENSION- *tien one piece coilovers *gold ASR plate *gold SKUNK2 lower control arms *gold BENEN lower tie bar ENGINE- *SCRATCH Built H22 motor *revell B series tranny *custom turbo system *oil catch can with steel braided lines *hasport mounts *custom 3" exhuast WHEELS- *welds racing rims *25" front slicks *drilled disc brakes all around *** I KNOW TIRES SUCK , BUT ITS HARD TO FIND PROPER RACE TIRES FOR THIS 1/25 SCALE...... ; ) ........... second batch of pics.........

heres my amt/ertl 1962 chevy bel air ....... had this build going on for a long time . I shaved all moldings on body and hood . cut the trunk open to add some audio back there . Custom audio set-up in place of rear seats . I used a hoppin hydros resin center console , camaro seats for the front , added armrest on the front door panels along with speakers , steering wheel from a diecast model ... resin hoppin hydro tv.....engine i used the revell engine pack , forgot which motor thou , this was my longest project EVER ! ....shaved the firewall , fender wells , to get that simple look.... resin air filter with photo etching........ lowered car by customizing front spindle and slamming rear diff..... nascar exhuast , BLACK CHROME parts , used dupli color shadow kit spray cans......added distributor with wires , forgot brand also........thats all for now.............
