This is Revell's Uptown Charger SRT8 finished in Testors Lime-Ice One-Coat w/ 2 coats of Future brushed on. Interior is done in Dupli-Color Hot Rod Gray primer.
I built this OOB (except for the rotors that I drilled out), also the first time I actually painted a body. Came out OK, I guess.
Thanks for looking!
Some great info in the videos below - as always! Be sure to watch all 3 parts of the last video. The Dr. has actually convinced me to try some. Just ordered some of the reducer he talks about and black base coat & some white base coat for my AMT Taurus police car.
Here's a link to the first model show of the year around here: http://www.chattanoogascalemodelers.com/chattanooga-model-show/
It will be at the Chattanooga Trade & Convention Center on Jan 10th & 11th.
The "World of Wheels" car show is also the same weekend at the Trade Center: http://worldofwheels.net/
I'll be interested to see where you take this one. I've always thought that the Prowler had a lot of potential, but they never took full advantage of it. I'll have to say though, that I've always hated the front bumpers..ugh!
Yeah, this forum is for model cars, not real ones. All kidding aside, you have some serious skills!!! These are the kind of builds that make me want to throw out all my kits and take up stamp collecting.
Love this one!! ...I think the spare just setting in there is a great idea! I always used to make sure that the spare was packed back up nice & neat in my 1:1 cars, but after they started going down hill I would just throw it back in the trunk and think "good enough".
