Thx for responding. I am looking forward to his "recommissioning AITM", it would be nice to purchase what I should have and did not get around to-back then. It would be a blessing to get a second chance at these fine products.

Just wondering where the "reboot" of AITM stands? Looking to make some purchases, hope you are on track, but it is what it is, please advise. Thx

Thx. This model truck is what I learned to drive in-a 62 C20 with the 4speed, roll up windows manual steering brakes manual yada yada yada-none of the stuff that is normal now but luxury back then. I am going to be building one of these, and am planning on the 8-foot bed, whenever someone picks up where others left off at and has for sale, and I can make the purchase. Nice job again on project! -

Nice job! Where did you get the rear tires? -
I agree. Too many times now, I was waiting to purchase, and then the vendor closed or went away. (Still hoping Rookie Resin reboots, really wanting two sets of those 8' 1962-1966 Chevy Pickup sides.)

If you would, thank you

Thx for the reply's. I hadn't been on the board in a while and never got any notice of responses. Just wanted to again say thanks and not appear rude. Still working towards the gears and chains, even looked into the gears on RC axles, but the chain part is not to scale.

Thanks for the reply. I have looked and not been able to find any. Might u have any aftermarket names to direct me to for these?

I am working on a large-sized dump body insert salt spreader and am looking for gears and chains to drive the auger and spinners. Just wondering if you have any ideas on sources. Thank you for your response. AB

Just wondering if anybody knows of a 1/24 or 1/25 large-displacement engine around 500 cubic inches that anyone has available or if the resin folks have one coming along eventually? Am intending to put it into a 50's old school (used to be a tractor trailer truck but is now) semi-retired farm dump truck? Thanks in advance for your response/guidance.

I am working on an stand-alone salt spreader that slides into the back of a 10-ton dump body. Am looking for suggestions on an air-cooled engine I could use, 1/24 or 1/25, if anyone has any ideas. Thx in advance for your input.

Good job on my favorite pickup of all time-and the one I learned to drive in-tell me, would you consider creating and selling 8' beds? -

I like it, nice job. we had a 73 - light green metallic - and the gas tanks were not behind the seat but out in the frame. I really like the trans. I want to build a 73, tell me, where did you get the grill? -

AlbertS replied to DRIPTROIT 71's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Thanks for the response. I also bought one of these, not knowing we were short timers regarding all of the good things AITM had to offer-before Dave passed-it is in my production list, a little down range yet, and these look really close to what IH would have hung on the front. -

Nice work, tell me where did you get the front rims from? -
II Really was hoting Moeibus was working there way to the next Ford Pickups in line-which would have been the 73-79, then the one I really want-the 80-86 version. Instead I constantly see this cab offered-another reason I am thinking of going to printing my own 3D files.
