  1. Wow... almost makes me want to pack my kits up, sell my tools, and never touch a model again, lol. Beautiful work, bro. Your skill is on a level that I cant even trully get to I think.
  2. That bed is just phenomenal. It honestly looks real. Well done, bro.
  3. Nice work on those headlights! Keep going.
  4. Looks gorgeous in that color. Nice all on lowering the front as well. Well done, bro.
  5. Definitely be watching this one.
  6. Ha, you are the first person to mention the tail lights! I originally planned to do some flushed mounted LED style tails, but I ended up moving away from it because I didnt think I could do it right. So, I just kinda left them off. The headers are solder. Love the look solder headers gives an engine. Mean and nasty was the exact look I was going for. Thanks for the feedback!
  7. Pro Touring is basically older cars with modern technology stuffed in. Usually its modern powerplants, modern suspension geometry, electronics, etc. Also its a style that is low on big wheels, big brakes, etc. All very functional. Awesome update, bro! I really like that four link set up. I may be using it as inspiration for mine.
  8. God this thing brings back sooo many memories. Nice build!
  9. And heres the engine and undercarriage. Both front and rear suspensions are functional and custom built.
  10. So this one is a finally done. Been one long project, ALOT of scratch building, alot of firsts. All in all, Im VERY pleased with the end result. Mods include a Ross Gibson 350, full scratch built suspension front and rear, nascar Diamond Racing wheels, and misc. body mods. Feel free to drop some thoughts and thanks for looking!
  11. I have a Hobby Lobby local and thats pretty much it. About 40 minutes away in Archdale is a place called KC Hobbies and its an awesome place. They have everything from styrene to detailing parts, paint, supplies, kits, etc. Its a little bit of a drive but I try to get what I need for a month or so when I go so its worth it. Ive heard of that show, I have a 50 Ford F1 Ive built that I wanted to enter but Im not sure if I can go or not yet. Ill have to post up my F1 for you guys. It was my first build and I put a TON of work into it. I dont really do box stock.
  12. I am in Central NC, about 40 minutes from Raleigh. Thanks for the heads up, Ill edit that. @Olskool, good luck on your build my man. It seems to be a pretty solid kit, Im enjoying it so far. Ill look out for your build as well.
  13. That is AWESOME!! I reaaaaally like the concept and the weathering is phenomenal.
  14. The tires are both Aoshima, I think. I went with a slightly lower profile in the front to give it a somewhat staggered look. And Im considering halfing the lip depth on the front as well.
  15. Nice work. I really like that crossmember on the front. Very clean fab work.
  16. The wheels are the stock '10 Camaro SS wheels with some lips from a spare set of Aoshima rims I have. I think they look awesome. I dont think Im gonna leave the center chrome, think Im gonna do a aluminum look with the polished lip.
  17. Heres my latest project. Pro Touring Camaro, big wheels, modern power plant, gobs of details... the works. Heres a teaser:
