  1. That really is just all sorts of BAMF....
  2. Awesome. You were right, those black valve covers are sexy.
  3. Ive got you covered there too. The Vette I bought came with two different LS valve covers to make it look like different versions of the LS. One of which was the LS7, I can take some pics if you want. Again, I would be willing to hook you up.
  4. If you mean the supercharged LS9, I am at this moment trying to find a good engine caster to make replicas of mine, its the one Im using in my Camaro. If you would like, I have a spare LS from an 2010 Camaro I could hook you up with.
  5. Already ahead of you, boys haha. There line along the bottom edge was to become the trunk line, so its now much better and Ive cleaned up the line where the rear facia and the body glued together.
  6. I like the Camaro much better, but I love modified lol. The Elco is also very nicely done. Looks real to me, which says something. That exhaust is especially cool.
  7. Awesome. I cant thank you enough for the advice. I hope to shoot my color this weekend. Im pretty sure I wrapped the bodywork up tonight. My fingers are sore from the sanding, lol.
  8. I LOVE it. Those wheels are basically perfect. I will be following this one.
  9. I agree, very sexy sir. Well done!
  10. Thats the most detailed help Ive gotten so far, so thanks for that. Is it true you cant sand metallics? My base coat is a silver metallic with some pretty good metal flak, Krylon btw. Then the top coat will be Testor's clear read. Dont know about the clear yet as the clear has a pretty good shine to it at least in my test shots.
  11. I hope my paint comes out that purty, lol. Looks beautiful, brother... and black is a difficult color since it shows imperfections so well.
  12. I see. Then I have no ideas.
  13. Those wheels look so sick finished. I like to see cars that have so much detail, even in the parts you will never see. Excellent work, bro.
  14. Thats stoopid sexy, brother. Wow. As for the camber, I like it. Makes it authentic. Cant lower a suspension without introducing some level of camber into the suspension geometry.
  15. What did you do the line with, putty? I think it would come out alot sharper with either a small half round or round rod. It doesnt have a super sharp turn to it, so it shouldnt be that hard to do. The other thought I had was do a negative relief.. the inner round part of the trim you should do out of a piece of sheet styrene and then sand the edges slightly rounded off. I think that would look very innovative and badass. Just my 2c.
  16. Thanks fellas! I can honestly say I am HAPPY with the outcome. I am also almost giddy with excitement to announce the body just got it's final coat of primer after two days of putty, sand, spot putty, sand, putty, sand, etc. So, a question since Im still pretty new to painting. Should I do the finishing sanding to the primer coat or what do I do? I know the clear red has a goood gloss to it, so I dont think clear coat will be a necessity and I cant sand the undercoat because its metallic. I do know from my tests with the spoons that the smoother the primer is the better the base coat goes down. Again, Im very new to this painting stuff and not too good at it, but I desperately want a good paint job out of this one. Advice is sincerely needed here.
  17. Awesome!
  18. Thank you for the suggestion as well as the criticism. I knew it need something but you know how it is, sometimes it takes fresh eyes to see what you cant see because of how much you stare at it, lol. Im definitely in love with the look of it now. It has the understated aggression and factory lines all in one package. I cant wait to see this thing in paint. Im trying to make sure I dont rush anything, lol.
  19. Alrighty, heres my update. I took the advice on the hood to heart, hope you guys like it as much as I do. And the spoiler is pretty much done. I originally planned to do a more classic look with the back of the spoiler kind concaved in, but as I got to working it, I loved how it developed this bulldog look the way it looks now, so thats the end look. I also repaired the mold imperfection on the headlight. Im not 100% happy with it, but I really think its as good as I can do. I still have some small putty work to do, small gaps to fill in and what not, but its definitely starting to look like something. Im really getting excited about this!
  20. I love their wheels, I have 4 sets myself. They are highly detailed and very well molded. Theres no male or female fitment, its just a solid block, but it leaves room to do whatever to fit them on what you want. The tires from HD Ive not had good experience with, tho.
  21. Came out really nice, bro. The wheels really set it off. They almost look stock they are so meant to be, lol. Nice work.
  22. Nice work, dude. This thing is shaping up. That work with the steering gear looks awesome!
  23. Is that header painted? If so, what did you use? That looks better than kit chrome... heck, it looks real to me. There is alot of cool things going with this build. Ive got it favorited as I will be using your suspension work as inspiration in future builds. Nice work, bro!
